Ainol Novo9 Spark menggunakan CPU Allwinner A31 quad-core, yang merupakan inovasi terbaru dari teknologi Allwinner. Allwinner A31 berbasis Cortex-A7 quad-core, dilengkapi GPU SGX544MP2 8 core dan RAM 2GB. Sedangkan internal storage berkapasitas 16GB dan dapat ditambahkan external memory sebesar 32GB, jadi terbilang cukup besar.

Ainol Novo9 Spark masih mengandalkan Wifi untuk koneksi internet, tidak ada 3G, namun bisa menggunakan external modem 3G melalui port USB OTG. Tablet ini juga dilengkapi port audio jack 3.5mm, slot kartu memori, serta slot HDMI. Sayangnya tidak ada bluetooth dan penerimaan sinyal wifi tidak terlalu baik.

Camera :

Dual Camera : Front 2.0 Megapixels,Back 5.0 Megapixels Auto Foucus;
Ainol spark hadir dengan kamera beresolusi 5 MP, dan kamera depan 2 MP dangan fitur autofocus dan tanpa lampu flash. Bisa dibilang kualitas foto tidak terlalu bagus dan juga tidak terlalu jelek karena ada fitur autofokusnya. Berikut penampakan hasil jepret TS sesuai dengan resolusi aslinya Battery :

1. Download official firmware dan PhoenixSuitPacket.

2. Install dan jalankan PhoenixSuitPacket, lalu pilih menu firmware atau gambar jangkar, kemudian browse image yang didownload tadi.


NB : nama folder file image jangan ada huruf china seperti "uutf8''火线2013-02-01-V1", biasanya open failed.

3. Matikan ainol, tekan dan tahan tombol volume up (+), lalu hubungkan ainol ke PC, kemudian tekan tombol power 3-5 kali sampai device terdetek.
NB : selama proses ini tombol volume up (+) harus tetap ditekan dan tahan.

4. Setelah device terdetek, otomatis akan muncul konfirmasi, pilih yes.
5. Proses upgrade sekitar 3 menit, tunggu sampai selesai. Done
NB : upgrade akan menghapus semua data, lakukan backup dahulu dan jangan cabut device selama proses berlangsung.

Cara Install :
1. Unrar TWRP-2.4.4.0-spark.rar
2. Copy twrp.img ke sdcard (internal)
3. Jalankan Android Terminal Emulator, lalu ketik :

cat /sdcard/twrp.img>/dev/block/nandg

sync;sync;sync

4. Done. Untuk masuk menu recovery bisa dari "Backups and restore" settings atau Pake aplikasi sejenis mobileuncle tools.

NB : Jika pake script diatas berarti nama file-nya harus menyesuaikan "twrp.img",
klo nama file "recovery.img" berarti script jg harus recovery.img

Cara Update Custom ROM :
1. Copy ROM (.zip) ke internal (atau external) memory.
2. Boot ke TWRP (pilih "Recovery mode" di menu settings "Backup and restore")
3. Lakukan "Factory reset" melalui menu "Wipe" di twrp
4. Back dan flash ROM (.zip) dari menu "install".
5. Reboot dan enjoy.

NB : Versi Custom ROM harus sama dengan Versi Stock ROM
Misal mau update ke custom ROM Based SDK3.0, berarti ROM bawaan harus SDK3.0 juga, Jika bukan harus upgrade dulu ke Official/Test ROM SDK3.0

- Root with Restore
1. Download dan Extract Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v18from Xda
2. Hubungkan Ainol Ke PC dalam keadaan Nyala
(Jangan Lupa USB debugging dicentang, "Setting - Developer options - Debugging")
3. Jalankan RunMe.bat dan Pilih No 1. Normal
4. Tunggu sampai muncul tulisan "Please look at your device and click RESTORE!",
lalu Pilih "Restore My Data" di layar Ainol.
